Service To Community
In addition to my volunteerism in education, I am actively involved in serving the community by supporting several organizations. Some of them include The San Marcos Promise, SOLE Effects (an organization that is focused on growing confident and courageous leaders at the middle and high school levels), MAAC, East County Transitional Living Center (ECTLC), Support The Enlisted Project (STEP), and various Boys & Girls Clubs. Professionally, I am the CEO of Target River, an advertising agency located in San Marcos that serves both retail and non-profit organizations. Through my profession, I stay active in the business community with membership and involvement in six Chambers of Commerce. I am also the creator of The Great American Buy Local Day, a movement to support the nearly 31 million small businesses in our country.
While I am a newer resident to San Marcos, my track record of active service in the communities I live in is solid. I have been a business owner in our community for over 4 years and have actively served as a member of the Education Committee for the San Marcos Chamber, and been a supporter of The San Marcos Promise, the non profit foundation that supports SMUSD and its students.
